In 2017, my team and I were tasked with the
in-store launch of the Buttermilk Crispy Tender. We wanted to present these new tenders as the most elevated item on the menu and bring something completely fresh to the in-store signage. We photographed the new tenders and sauces as if they were apart of a tasting menu.
With some pieces torn in half to expose the beautiful white meat and the crumbs that would generally be retouched out, were kept to highlight the crispiness. The new selections of sauces were artfully drizzled and placed to further drive home the “tasting menu” concept.
The end result was a beautiful campaign
that stood out in-stores and resulted in
one of McDonald’s most successful
product launches to date.
